August 11, start to operate new safety rules for the production of chlorine and chlorine-containing environments

Federal rules and regulations in the field of industrial safety "Safety Rules production of chlorine and chlorine-containing environments," approved by the order RTN from 20.11.2013 N 554, designed for use in order to ensure industrial safety of hazardous production facilities: 

  - Production of chlorine, caustic soda and hydrogen by electrolysis of all solutions of sodium chloride and potassium chloride, hydrochloric acid solution; 

  - Manufactures sodium hypochlorite chemical and electrochemical, and for sites where appeals sodium hypochlorite solution, consider the maximum lump sum is on-site agent based on absolute amounts of active chlorine in it; 

  - Objects associated with the use of chlorine and sodium hypochlorite solution, storage, loading and unloading of liquid chlorine and sodium hypochlorite solution with all types of chlorine and hypochlorite packaging; 

  - Transport of chlorine and sodium hypochlorite solution through pipelines, and transportation of liquid chlorine and sodium hypochlorite vehicles. 

Declared inapplicable in the decision Gosgortechnadzor RF from 05.06.2003 N 48 "On approval of rules of safety during production, storage, transportation and use of chlorine."
