In China there was a fire at an oil refinery. The incident occurred in Gansu province in the northwest of the country, according to ITAR-TASS.
Flames broke out on the rectification plant Lanzhou refinery. Data on injuries were reported. Air pollution and groundwater contamination has not yet been identified.
According to preliminary information, the cause of emergencies has been leaked from the hydrocracking unit. The facility where the fire occurred, processed up to 300 thousand tons per year.
