The prosecutor's office have every reason to suspend the activities of the Ryazan refinery (RNPK)

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Minister Rinat Gizatulin, speaking at a meeting of the State Duma of the Russian Federation March 18, 2015

R. Gizatulin said that earlier in the Ministry of Russia received a number of complaints from citizens about the numerous violations of environmental legislation at the Ryazan refinery and associated air pollution. Office has sent a letter to Prosecutor General's Office to conduct a thorough review of the company and take the necessary measures prosecutorial response.

March 17, 2015 Ryazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office informed the Ministry of Russia on the outcome of regional management in conjunction with RPN checks. She confirmed the facts of exceeding allowable levels of emissions of hydrogen sulfide on RNPK. It was also recorded that the company has not been taken on the establishment of the sanitary protection zone, the amount of which was to achieve a reduction in the impact of pollution on the air.
